Basic Occupational Safety and Health (BOSH) Training is a 40-hour or five-day course prescribed by Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) in accordance with Rule 1030 of the Occupational Safety and Health Standards. It aims to equip agencies to develop effective safety and prevention programs, including the development of potential health and safety standards in their respective workplaces.
BOSH training is well-developed module and customized for manufacturing companies to enable concerned personnel(s) identify hazards, evaluate and correct them, so none of these unsafe conditions or unsafe acts turn into life threatening situations that curb a company’s productive output. Losses can be prevented thru Safety and Health Management System.
The Occupational Safety and Health Center (OSHC) of DOLE will be having a training on September 4-8, September 18-22, October 2-6, November 6-10 and November 20-24 for this year 2017.
This training is ideal for Occupational Health Doctors, OH Nurses, Managers, Supervisors and Safety Officers, members of the Health & Safety Committee and Internal Auditors.
Training fee is five thousand five hundred pesos (P 5,500.00) inclusive of:
- Meals for five days (AM, PM Snacks and lunch)
- Training manual and materials
- Certificate of Completion
This is a first come-first served reservation of slot. Only the first 50 registrants can be accommodated per training batch. Further, a maximum of (2) participants per company can join each batch to enable OSHC serve and reach out to as many companies as possible. Reservation shall be confirmed upon payment.
