Civil Service Exam 2026 Schedule | Professional & Sub-Professional

The Civil Service Commission (CSC) announces the Civil Service Exam Calendar 2026 as follows. Please remember to mark your calendar and take note of the application period.

The CS Exam is scheduled in two batches for both the Professional and Sub-Professional level. The first batch is on March 8, 2026, and the application period will start on November 3, 2025, and last until November 28, 2025. While the second batch is set on August 9, 2026, with the application period from May 14, 2026 to June 10, 2026. Please note that acceptance of applications shall be on a “first-come, first-served” basis and shall be closed any time before the deadline once the CSC Regional or Field Office has already reached the target number of applicants.

You can visit the official CSC Facebook pages of your concerned CSC offices to initially check the modes of application they require. Some offices require online appointments, while others allow walk-ins.

The official announcement was released by the Civil Service Commission through Examination Announcement No. 8, series of 2025.

The CSC shall issue individual or separate examination announcements three (3) weeks before the start of each application period as indicated in the Examination Announcement. The separate announcement shall contain detailed information such as, but not limited to, the following areas:

• Testing centers;
• Qualification/admission requirements;
• Application (documentary) requirements;
• Where to get the application form and how to file it;
• Scope of examination;
• Passing grade; and
• Resulting civil service eligibility.

Qualification and Admission Requirements

Applicants must meet the following qualification requirements:

• Filipino citizen;
• At least 18 years old on the date of filing of applications;
• Of good moral character;
• Has not been convicted by final judgement of an offense or crime involving moral turpitude, or disgraceful or immoral conduct, dishonesty, examination irregularity, drunkenness, or addiction to drugs;
• Has not been dishonorably discharged from the military service or dismissed for cause from any civilian position in the government; and
• Has not taken the same level of Civil Service Examination, either through PPT or other test modes, within three (3) months before the date of examination.

Applicants must prepare the following admission requirements:

• Fully accomplished Application Form (CS Form No. 100);
• Four (4) pieces of identical I.D. pictures;
• Original and photocopy of accepted I.D. cards for civil service exams;
• Examination fee of Five Hundred Pesos (PhP500.00)
