The Department of Education (DepEd) set the Christmas Break 2019 from December 15, 2019 (Sunday) to January 5, 2020 (Sunday).

DepEd Christmas Break 2019
This Calendar of Activities is based from the DepEd Order No. 007 Series of 2019 where in public schools under DepEd will have the holiday break from 15 December 2019 – 5 January 2020.
Note: Private schools have the discretion to develop and follow their own school calendar as long as the minimum number of class days.
Last Day of Classes | December 13
In the DepEd Order No. 007 Series of 2019, public schools under DepEd will have the Christmas break starting December 15. However, both December 14 and 15 are weekends, Saturday and Sunday respectively. It is assumed that December 13 (Friday) will be the last day of classes for this year 2019.

Resumption of Classes | January 6
With almost four weeks of vacation, DepEd set the resumption of classes on January 6, 2020 (Monday).
