Salary Grade of DepEd Teachers
The Salary Grade of DepEd Teachers follows the government position classification and compensation system.
Under the expanded career progression system, the teaching career line starts with Teacher I at Salary Grade 11 and progresses through Teacher VII at SG 17. Teachers may then advance to Master Teacher positions, beginning with Master Teacher I at SG 18.

Fourth Tranche Salary Increase for DepEd Teachers
EO No. 64, s. 2024 provides four tranches of salary adjustments for covered civilian government personnel:
- First Tranche: January 1, 2024
- Second Tranche: January 1, 2025
- Third Tranche: January 1, 2026
