What’s the difference between Professional and Sub-Professional Civil Service Exam?

This article will answers those questions.

What’s the benefit of passing the Professional at Sub-Professional Civil Service Exam?

It can be a Professional or Sub-Professional. Pero kapag pasado ka naman sa kahit anong board exam, no need to take the Civil Service Exam dahil sapat na ang RA 1080 eligibility mo. Halimbawa: Doctors, Engineers, Teachers, Attorneys, Nurses, Dentists, Accountants, etc.

Ang Salary Grade 11 gaya ng Administrative Officer II (HRMO I), Administrative Officer II (Management & Audit Analyst I), Computer Programmer I, at Internal Auditor I ay nangangailangan ng 2nd Level Eligibility (Professional).

Read Salary Grade Table as of 2022.

What should I take? Professional at Sub-Professional Civil Service Exam?

Kung SG 11 pataas, take the Professional Civil Service Exam.

Do I need to be a college graduate to take the Professional Civil Service Exam?

NO! Basta 18 years old pwede ka na kumuha ng Professional Civil Service Exam. Ayon kay Proline Daclan, public assistance division chief of the Civil Service Commission-7, “Giving the opportunity and chance for the best to have the eligibility at the possible earliest time. No need to be a college graduate or those with 72 units.” (Source: The Philippine Star: CSC lifts education requirement in civil service eligibility exams)

Based on CSC, you don’t need to be a High School Graduate or a College Graduate for you to take either the Professional or Sub-Professional Exam. Kaya wala sa requirement ang copy of HS grade or TOR sa college.

I am a high school graduate only. What should I take?

Ang requirement kalimitan ay at least college graduate or may 2-years in college. Pero kung sa tingin mo ay kaya mo naman ipasa agad ang Professional Civil Service Exam, by all means take it!
