DSWD Cash Assistance for Students (All Levels) | Nationwide

The Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) announced the distribution of the Educational Cash Assistance nationwide.

DSWD Secretary Erwin Tulfo officially announced that they will distribute financial assistance to qualified indigent students every Saturday until September 24, 2022.

This initiative is under the Assistance to Individuals in Crisis Situations (AICS) Program. For those who are in the province, there is already an ongoing distribution in the DSWD Field Offices nationwide.

Who are qualified for the DSWD Cash Assistance?

Those who belong to the following categories of student-in-crisis:

  • Breadwinner
  • Working student
  • Has no family or living with relative
  • Child of a solo parent
  • Parents with no source of living
  • Child of Overseas Filipino Workers (OFW)
  • Child of HIV victims
  • Victim of domestic abuse
  • Victim of natural disasters

Elementary students, high school students, senior high school students and vocational or college level students can apply for the DSWD educational cash assistance program.

How much is the Educational Cash Assistance?

The payout for this program will be depending on the school level.

  • PhP 1,000 for Elementary Students
  • PhP 2,000 for High School Students
  • PhP 3,000 for Senior High School Students
  • PhP 4,000 for Vocational or College Students

How to receive the Educational Assistance Payout?

There are two ways to receive that the student can receive their payout.

1). Walk-In. Going directly to DSWD Central Office and Field Offices nationwide. (Update: Check the specific instruction per DSWD Field Office. You may contact them via FB (DSWD Facebook Pages).

2). Email Request. You can email your request at [email protected] and make sure to wait for the text confirmation from DSWD. This text includes the date and location where the payout will be distributed, and also the requirements to bring.
