No Government Work Suspension on January 2, 2020

Last year, the Office of the President suspended the government work on January 2, 2019. But this year, there is no Memorandum Circular for government work suspension for January 2, 2020.

Resume of Government Work | January 2, 2020

If you are working on any of the following agencies, you are expected to report to your respective offices on January 2, 2020 (Thursday):

  • Government-Owned-or-Controlled Corporations (GOCCs)
  • Government Financial institutions
  • State Universities and Colleges
  • Local Government Units
  • Other Agencies and Instrumentalities (i.e. DepEd, CHED, and other Executive Branches)

If you have government transactions such as NBI Clearance Appointment, LTO License Renewal, DFA Passport Application, PhilHealth Contributions, Pag-IBIG Payment, SSS Loan Application, Civil Service Exam Application, etc., you can proceed to their respective offices starting January 2.
