List of Holidays for August 2018

Here are the August 2018 holidays:

  • August 21 – Ninoy Aquino Day (special non-working holiday) and Eid’l Adha (regular holiday)
  • August 27 – National Heroes Day (regular holiday)

For August 21 and August 27, both were declared by theProclamation No. 269 (Declaring the Regular Holidays and Special Non-Working Days for the Year 2018). See link.

For August 22 or the Eid’l Adha, there is no official announcement from the Office of the President. But in the DepEd Calendar of Activities 2018-2019, it is already declared as regular holiday. See link.

UPDATES: According to Proclamation No. 556 Series of 2018, August 21 is declared a regular holiday throughout the country, in observance of Eidh’l Adha (Feast of Sacrifice)
