All Overseas Filipino Workers (OFWs), Persons With Disability (PWDs) and Senior Citizens do not need to get an online passport appointment in the DFA website. You can watch the DZMM Teleradio interview of DFA Asec. Frank Cimafranca regarding the clarification of the issue.
According to Asec. Cimafranca, the applicants need to bring all the required documents and they can apply through a courtesy lane (walk-in) or priority lane in DFA Aseana or regional consular satellite offices.
Also, the following do not need an online passport appointment:
- Solo Parent with Valid Solo Parent ID
- Pregnant women with medical certificate
- Minors seven (7) years old and below
You may avail of the PRIORITY LANE at DFA Aseana or at any DFA Satellite Office or Regional Consular Office to apply for your passport.
If you are not an OFW, PWD, senior citizen, solo parent, pregnant, or minor, then you need to follow the regular process of getting an online passport appointment at www.passport.gov.ph.
We remind you that passport appointments are free. The DFA discourages applicants from securing online appointment through fixers. Please be warned that dealing with fixers is at your own risk and expense
