OWWA EDSP Scholarship 2026
The OWWA EDSP Scholarship, or Education for Development Scholarship Program, provides financial assistance of up to ₱60,000 per school year to qualified dependents of OFWs.
The scholarship may continue until completion of a four- or five-year bachelor’s degree, subject to OWWA’s rules and continued qualification.
For 2026, applicants are divided into two categories:
- Category 1 – Incoming first-year college students
- Category 2 – Students already enrolled in their 2nd to 5th year of college
For incoming freshmen, OWWA states that scholar selection is determined through the DOST national examination, with the top 1,000 qualifiers considered for entry as freshmen. The current OWWA scholarship portal also indicates 600 slots for students in the 2nd to 5th year college level.

OWWA ODSP Scholarship 2026
The OWWA ODSP Scholarship, or OFW-Dependents Scholarship Program, provides ₱20,000 per school year to qualified OFW dependents.
It covers qualified dependents who will enroll, are currently enrolled, or have previously been enrolled in a four- or five-year baccalaureate or associate course in a Philippine-based college or university.
OWWA’s current application portal notes that the applicable OFW monthly salary requirement will be based on guidelines specified in a memorandum issued by OWWA for the application period. Applicants should therefore follow the requirement displayed in the current online application rather than relying solely on older ODSP guidelines.
Congressional Migrant Workers Scholarship Program (CMWSP)
The CMWSP is another OWWA-administered scholarship available during the 2026 application period. It is intended for deserving migrant workers and/or their immediate descendants who want to pursue courses in priority Science and Technology fields.
Qualified scholars may receive up to ₱60,000 per school year until completion of a four- or five-year bachelor’s degree in a Philippine college or university.
