The PCSO Educational Assistance Program is now accepting applications through the eGovPH mobile app and via email.

The Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) is the principal government agency mandated to raise and provide funds for health programs, medical assistance, and charities of national character.  The PCSO regularly conducts charity sweepstakes, races, and lotteries to provide for its programs in health, welfare-related investments, projects, and activities.

Many Filipinos benefit from the PCSO Medical Assistance Program, one of the agency’s flagship health initiatives. Recently, PCSO partnered with Bagong Pilipinas eGovPH Serbisyo Hub (BPeSH) to also offer educational assistance.

Official Announcement for the PCSO Educational Assistance Program

The Bagong Pilipinas eGovPH Serbisyo Hub Facebook page officially announced that application are open, including the requirements and how to apply. This announcement was also shared by PTV and the Philippine Information Agency.

The BPeSH serves as a single point of contact for faster, simpler, and more convenient public services. Through the eGovPH Super App, Filipinos can access one-stop online hub that integrates government services into a single platform, reducing the need for on-site transactions. This Serbisyo Hub is located at the Presidential Action Center, Makabagong San Juan National Government Center, Pinaglabanan Street, San Juan City, Metro Manila.

PCSO Requirements for Educational Assistance

All college students enrolled in any school, college, or university in the Philippines are eligible to apply, provided they meet the requirements below.

1. Certified true copy of the Certificate of Enrollment or Registration Form for the current semester
2. Photocopy of any valid government-issued ID of both the student and parent or guardian
3. Photocopy of the student ID
4. A certified true copy of a Billing Statement or Statement of Account
5. Valid academic transcript or online report card of the previous semester
6. Completed PSCO Educational Assistance Application Form, along with a recent 2×2 ID photo of the student

How to apply for the Educational Assistance of PCSO

There are two application options:

1. Walk-in at the BPeSH Office, San Juan City, Metro Manila; and
2. Email submission

It is recommended to apply via walk-in at the BPeSH Office so you can receive immediate feedback and transact with staff directly.

For Walk-in Applicants (with online appointment):

• Carefully review all requirements.
• Submit complete documents to avoid disqualification.
• Ensure the Certificate of Enrollment or Registration Form and the Billing Statement or Statement of Account are certified true copies.
• Set an appointment with PCSO using the eGovPH app.
• Present the QR code from the app to the Action Officer upon arrival at BPeSH (see the sample picture below).

For Applicants Outside Metro Manila (via email)

• Prepare clear, scanned copies of all requirements.
• Write a short letter in the email body explaining why you need financial assistance.
• Use this email subject line: PCSO Educational Assistance [Full Name of the Applicant]
• Attach all the requirements and send to [email protected]
• PCSO will send confirmation and feedback on your application status.

How Much is PCSO Educational Assistance?

There is no fixed amount of educational assistance specified in the official announcement for the PCSO Educational Assistance Program. The amount granted may depend on the applicant’s educational needs, assessment, and availability of funds.

Based on experiences shared by some applicants online, the amount received may vary. Some students reported receiving ₱5,000 credited directly to their school, while another recipient reported having tuition of around ₱19,000 covered.

However, these amounts are based on individual applicant experiences and should not be considered the official or guaranteed amount of PCSO Educational Assistance. The actual assistance approved for each applicant may differ.
