What Is the Pisay Scholarship?
The Pisay Scholarship is offered by the Philippine Science High School System, an attached agency of the Department of Science and Technology (DOST).
It provides qualified students with free secondary education through a specialized six-year curriculum focused on science, mathematics, engineering, and technology.
Admission is determined through the Philippine Science High School National Competitive Examination, commonly called the Pisay NCE. Students who qualify for the PSHS Scholarship 2027 will enter Grade 7 in School Year 2027–2028.

- Up to ₱10,000 transportation allowance for all full scholars
- ₱10,000 research allowance for each research group
- Group accidental insurance
- Instructional supplies worth up to ₱61,500 for Grade 7 full scholars
- Summer internship allowance worth up to ₱8,000 for all Grade 10 scholars
- Free tuition and loan of textbooks
- Dormitory accommodation, when applicable
The instructional supplies for Grade 7 full scholars may include a laptop worth ₱49,000, a calculator worth ₱1,500, ADTech kit and other supplies worth ₱10,000, and ₱1,000 connectivity assistance.

Who Can Apply for the Pisay Scholarship 2027?
A student may apply for the Philippine Science High School Scholarship 2027 if the following conditions are met:
- Currently a Grade 6 student in School Year 2026–2027
- Studying at a school recognized by the Department of Education
- Has a final grade of at least 85% in Science and Mathematics based on the Grade 5 report card
- If the Science or Mathematics grade is below 85%, belongs to the upper 10% of the batch
- A Filipino citizen with no pending or approved application for immigration to another country
- Not more than 15 years old by June 30, 2027
- Has at least a satisfactory character or conduct rating
- Has not previously applied for admission to PSHS
- Preferably in good health and fit to complete the rigorous PSHS curriculum
Meeting these qualifications does not guarantee admission. Applicants must take the Pisay NCE and meet the official selection and ranking requirements.
Pisay Scholarship Requirements
Prepare the following Pisay Scholarship requirements:
- Recent 1×1 identification photo
- Certified true copy of the Grade 5 report card
- Certification of belonging to the upper 10% of the batch, if applicable
- Proof of payment for private school applicants
- Certification of full scholarship from the private school, if applicable

Pisay Scholarship Application Fee
Application is free for public school students and qualified full scholars from private schools. Students who attended a private school in Grade 5 must pay a ₱300 non-refundable processing fee, unless they are full scholars and can provide the required school certification.
