PMMA Online Application is Now Open

The Philippine Merchant Marine Academy (PMMA) is now opening its online application for the new breed of cadets for this coming Academic Year 2023-2024.

The PMMA is the Philippines’ first maritime school which is supported by the government funds. Some of the graduates of PMMA are now master mariners, chief engineers, shipping executives, naval officers, excellent educators and trainors. Others are serving in maritime-related industries in local and abroad.

PMMA Basic Qualification Requirements

• Male or female, physically fit, natural born Filipino citizen;
• Single and never been married and has no children out of wedlock;
• Free from being accused or convicted of any crime against the law and the state;
• At least 17 years old and not more than 23 years old upon enrollment on August 01;
• Grade 12 student; College Level
• At least 160 centimeters (5 ft. & 3 in.) for male and 155 centimeters (5 ft. & 1 in.) for female;
• BMI of less than 25;
• At least of good academic performance;
• Has not been enrolled in PMMA.

Interested applicant who wishes to take the PMMA Entrance Examination must sign up at this FORM. Please take note that this form is only open in specific day and hours (Monday to Thursday from 8AM-4PM, and Friday from 8AM-3PM).

According to PMMA Admissions Office, the online application will be until September. The PMMA Entrance Examination is administered every last Saturday of September of each year.
