The Salary Standardization Law V (SSL 5) is the most recent Republic Act for the salary modification schedule for civilian government employees in the Philippines.
Republic Act No. 11466 (also known as the Salary Standardization Law of 2019) was signed into a law last January 8, 2020 by former President Rodrigo Roa Duterte. It was implemented into four tranches.
- SSL V First Tranche (Effectivity Date: January 1, 2020)
- SSL V Second Tranche (Effectivity Date: January 1, 2021)
- SSL V Third Tranche (Effectivity Date: January 1, 2022)
- SSL V Fourth Tranche (Effective Date: January 1, 2023)
- First Tranche (Updated Salary Schedule): January 1, 2024
- Second Tranche (Updated Salary Schedule): January 1, 2025
- Third Tranche (Updated Salary Schedule): January 1, 2026
- Fourth Tranche (Updated Salary Schedule): January 1, 2027
The ongoing salary grade for this year 2024 is still using the Fourth Tranche. The Senate has already filed a bill for Salary Standardization Law VI (SSL 6) under Senate Bill (SB) No. 2611.
