Qualifications for the SSS CLAP

Members who are qualified for this loan are those who have paid contributions for 36 months and six months of these should have been made within the last 12 months before the loan application is submitted.

They must be a resident of an NDRRMC-declared calamity area and suffered damage/loss to their properties due to Typhoon Fabian, Typhoon Maring and Typhoon Odette.

Also, applicants should not have been granted any final benefit such as permanent total disability or retirement, and have no outstanding loans under the Loan Restructuring Program or previous CLAPs.

Under the CLAP, qualified members may avail of a loan equivalent to the average of their last 12 monthly salary credits (MSC) rounded up to the nearest thousand or the amount they applied for, whichever is lower.

REMINDER: Delinquent borrowers are not qualified for this loan program.

SSS Calamity Loan Deadline

SSS will offer the CLAP for its members and the Three-month Advance Pension to its pensioners until April 13, 2022. Also, there is a Direct House Repair and Improvement Loan for qualified members, which will be open for one year from the issuance of its corresponding circular.
