UPLIFT Program SSS 2026: Who Can Receive the ₱2,000 Monthly Assistance?

Qualified low-income SSS members may receive ₱2,000 per month under the DSWD UPLIFT Assistance Program, with Group 3 beneficiaries covered by the program from July to December 2026.

With the latest second-tranche update, qualified Group 3 beneficiaries are advised to check their My.SSS inbox and enrolled disbursement account, especially those who received a notification but have not yet received their assistance.

What is the UPLIFT Program?

UPLIFT stands for Unified Package for Livelihoods, Industry, Food, and Transport.

The program was introduced as a government social protection measure to help vulnerable Filipino households cope with higher commodity prices associated with the energy emergency.

According to DSWD, the program was designed to cover about 7.5 million households, divided into three beneficiary groups. Group 3 was initially targeted at around 1.5 million low-income SSS members.

Who Are Included in UPLIFT Group 3?

Group 3 specifically covers qualified low-income SSS members. According to DSWD, the eligibility criteria include:

Qualification Requirement
Employment Employed low-income earner
SSS Monthly Salary Credit Below ₱20,000
SSS Contribution At least one contribution in 2025 or 2026
Disbursement Must have an active SSS disbursement account

DSWD also explained that SSS handles the actual crediting of the assistance to the registered disbursement accounts of qualified Group 3 beneficiaries.

Important: Being an SSS member does not automatically mean that you are qualified for UPLIFT assistance.

How Much Can SSS UPLIFT Beneficiaries Receive?

Qualified Group 3 beneficiaries are entitled to: ₱2,000 per month for six months, covering July to December 2026.

That means a qualified household may receive a total of ₱12,000 over the six-month period, subject to continued implementation and applicable program rules.

This differs from Group 1 beneficiaries under 4Ps and the Walang Gutom Program, who receive a one-time ₱2,000 UPLIFT top-up.

UPLIFT Group 3 Second Tranche Update

Based on the latest DSWD announcement, the start of crediting for Group 3 is from September 14 to October 16, 2026.

This applies to qualified SSS beneficiaries under Group 3. Beneficiaries should therefore monitor their My.SSS account and registered disbursement account during the announced crediting period.

Received a My.SSS Notification But No ₱2,000?

This is particularly important for beneficiaries who have already received a notification in their My.SSS inbox confirming that they are qualified but have not received their ₱2,000 assistance.

According to the latest advisory, this may happen because of:

  • incorrect account details; or
  • an inactive enrolled disbursement account.

Affected beneficiaries should carefully read the notification sent to their My.SSS inbox and update or reactivate their disbursement account according to the deadline specified by SSS.

How to Check If You Are an UPLIFT SSS Beneficiary

If you are an SSS member, check your My.SSS account, particularly your inbox, for an official notification regarding UPLIFT Assistance. Also make sure that your enrolled disbursement account is active and that your account information is correct.

Do not rely solely on Facebook posts, comments, text messages, or unofficial “beneficiary lists.”

Do You Need to Apply for UPLIFT SSS Assistance?

The program uses existing government databases to identify qualified beneficiaries. DSWD has described Group 3 as low-income households cross-matched with SSS records.

Therefore, avoid websites or social media posts claiming that you need to pay a registration fee to receive the ₱2,000 assistance.

Is the ₱2,000 Taken From Your SSS Contributions?

No. The UPLIFT assistance is a government financial assistance program and should not be confused with an SSS benefit funded from an individual member’s contributions.
